CAT Plus - Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program

Provided in collaboration with San Diego Youth Services (SDYS), South Bay Community Services (SBCS), Mental Health Systems (MHS), and SAY San Diego (SAY), CAT Plus is a 16-module teen pregnancy prevention program operating within San Diego County communities where high incidence rates for teen pregnancy have been. Partnering with local schools and community centers, Lifeline coordinates CAT Plus services in the County's North Coastal region.

CAT Plus aims to reduce teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases county-wide among youth ages 13 to 19 who are involved with the juvenile justice system or who are at risk of involvement for a variety of reasons. Participants are identified for enrollment in the program through the Probation Department, Sheriff and police departments, schools, and other community partners. Parents or guardians may also refer.
