Rental Assistance Programs

 

Rental and deposit assistance may be available for other cities and areas depending on funding availability. To see if there is assistance in your area, please check with 2-1-1 by dialing 211 or (858) 300-1211.

Motel Voucher Program

When funds are available, homeless families or disabled individuals may be eligible for a hotel voucher.

CONTACT: Any interested participants are required to contact 211 for a referral.

Basic Needs Assistance Program

Lifeline offers emergency assistance. We can provide food items in an emergency situation as well as provide priority appointments to assist individuals and families with referrals to shelters, rental assistance and other appropriate programs.

VUSD-Project Outreach

The goal of Project Outreach is to help promote the success of students who are experiencing homelessness in the Vista Unified School District (VUSD).

Project Outreach provides:

  • Case management
  • Referrals for housing, healthcare, counseling, etc.
  • Employment support
  • Assistance with transportation, food, clothing, and shoes

To quailify for Project Outreach, you must first fill out a Residency Affidavit for each child attending school in the Vista Unifed School District. These forms can be found at each school site administrative office.

CONTACT: After completing the Residency Affidavit, please call North County Lifeline's Intake Line at (760) 842-6268 for a referral to a Family Support Worker.
