Volunteer Group Opportunities
At North Country Lifeline we give youth and families the tools they need to solve their own problems and become self-reliant. We couldn't do that without the partnering with organizations like yours.
UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIESSTEM Days at La Casita
La Casita is set up as an early intervention program for at-risk youth and provides services for (on average) 30 children ages 6 to 12 on a daily basis. The site is a safe space for children to go to when released from school. On the last Wednesday of the month we have pre-planned, scheduled STEM related activities and labs perfect for curious minded volunteers to do with the kids. We provide the instructions and supplies; you provide the creativity and guidance! This project is best suited for small volunteer groups to sponsor together. 8 to15 volunteers needed. Location: Oceanside, CA. The next STEM Day will be Wednesday, January 29th 2020 from 3pm - 5pm. To sign up your group for the next STEM Day or for a future date, email the Volunteer Program!

Join North County Lifeline's Project LIFE team on the next Massage Parlor Outreach on Saturday, January 25th 2020 from 10:30am - 12:00pm! Our mission is to bring awareness to massage parlors to provide a pathway for employees and victims to reach out and make a difference. We visit to encourage the display of the City Attorney's Human Trafficking Poster, publically visible to everyone who enters their establishments. Human Trafficking is classified as a Federal Crime under Federal and State Law. By signing up and participating in this event, you are making a BIG difference in fighting to provide access to freedom for these victims. Lifeline staff is getting ready to do some much-needed spring cleaning on Friday, March 27th 2020! This is a day that is set aside specifically to organize and clean out desk drawers, supply rooms, closets, offices and anything that can accumulate clutter. This will help improve efficiency throughout the agency and focus on providing the best quality care and service to our clients. We are looking for a group of volunteers that will help us organize and clean our storage unit onsite. Anything that Lifeline no longer uses will be donated to our neighbors and clients. Things such as office furniture, supplies, toys, electronics, etc., will be available for pick up. Some volunteers will also transport things from other Lifeline locations back to our Vista storage for sorting. Lunch will be provided. Up to 10 volunteers are needed.

Creek to Bay Cleanup
In partnership with I Love a Clean San Diego, North County Lifeline will host a “Street Sweep” of our local neighborhood in Vista on Saturday, April 25th 2020 from 9am - 12pm. Did you know that the best way to prevent trash, litter, and debris from reaching our coast and oceans is to stop it at its inland source? This is why cleanups are so important. By cleaning up our inland neighborhoods and preventing trash from reaching storm drains, we make a greater impact in keeping our coasts and oceans clean. Sign up with a friend or with a group to help us clean up our local neighborhood.
Vista Strawberry Festival
Volunteers are needed to assist North County Lifeline at the 11th annual Vista Strawberry Festival on Sunday, May 24th 2020 from 6am - 6pm! We will be selling a strawberry dessert to help raise awareness and fundraise for Lifeline programs. The festival entails live music, contests, prizes, food, beer garden, 300+ vendors, rides, kid's zones, and STRAWBERRIES! Save the date for this event and sign up online!
